About IV Therapy
What is IV therapy?
IV therapy delivers fluids, vitamins and minerals straight into your bloodstream through a small IV line. At YourMD Infusion, every drip on our IV drip menu is given in a clinical setting by licensed medical staff.
Who gives the IV treatments at YourMD Infusion?
Our team includes board-certified physicians, licensed pharmacists, certified physician assistants and experienced registered nurses. Doctors review your health history and lab results, pharmacists check medication safety and nurses monitor you during your session. Meet our team.
Is IV therapy safe?
Every treatment is guided by licensed medical professionals from start to finish, and every plan starts with a review of your health history. Our nurses watch your response throughout the infusion. Our article Is IV Therapy Safe? covers what to expect.
What happens at my first visit?
Your visit starts with a brief wellness assessment and a review of your health history. Your clinician recommends a drip that fits your goals, places the IV and checks on you throughout the session in a calm, comfortable room.
How long does an IV session take?
Most sessions finish within an hour. A NAD+ drip is given slowly and can take several hours. There is no downtime, so you can get back to your day right after your appointment.
Which IV drip is right for me?
We offer drips for hydration, energy, immunity, athletic recovery, jet lag, hangovers, migraines, cold and flu, glowing skin and more, plus the classic Myers’ Cocktail. Browse the conditions we treat, and our clinicians will help you choose at your visit.
Can I add extras to my drip?
Yes. IV add-ons such as Glutathione, NAD+ injections and Vitamin Boosters can be added to your treatment.
How often should I get IV therapy?
It depends on your goals and your health. Our care continues after the session: we follow your labs and progress and adjust your treatment plan with you.
Does insurance cover IV therapy?
Coverage depends on your plan and the reason for treatment. Our guide Does Insurance Cover IV Therapy? explains how to check your benefits.
Do you offer packages or specials?
Yes. Our current specials include Buy 5, Get 1 Free on IV treatments.
